I’m easily side tracked, **** reading cause i cant stay focused on one thing, mind racing when I’m trying to sleep. I would say its stress but everybody has worries and problems. I think I should probably go to my physician about it.

go to the ADDA web site. There are support groups and conferences. Find others who have the same condition and get into discussions.

There is good information on Wikipedia about it:

There are lots of articles about ADD on the web.
The key here is that have you been like this since childhood? And is it more than the average person? And it has to be a long list of symptoms not just a couple and be consistent. Everybody can get easily sidetracked. Is it frequent and chronic?
If it started recently, it’s not. Stress can bring on these kind of symptoms.
Your doctor should make an in-depth check of your history and health to rule out anything else. For example you could find it hard to physically focus, an eye problem and that’s why you **** reading.

What you mention could be ADD/ADHD but you would need to investigate further. 3 things on their own do not equal ADD/ADHD.
I would strongly recommend you visit a website such as and take a look at the criteria before going to a physician.
Another great site is webmd.com - you can use their online self-diagnosis tool.
